LEGO. The lego group began between the years of 1891and 1958 in Denmark, LEGO came from the words 'Leggodt' meaning 'Play Well'. They started as wooden toys before moving onto plastic in 1947. An early version of the now famous bricks were called "Automatic binding bricks". the brand kept growing from there developing blocks to longer more advance pieces that aloud for other such model to be made. They also got involved with other worldwide brands such as Video games (Minecraft) Films/Books (Harry potter and The Hobbit) Superheroes (Marvel and DC Universe) Car brands (Ferrari) and even involved with robotics.

LEGO's Logo: A simple logo, with bright highlight colours that surround the brands name, red is a very alert colour and draws in the public eye, makes it stand out. The font is playful and soft using curved edges and a very bloated size, fitting nicely into the box shape.

The Website: The Website is colourful and bright just like the logo. Its shows a lot of the newest products available. Including links to shopping, login details for an account, creating and sharing, videos etc.

Personal: Lego has been a huge part of my child hood I use to own thousands of pounds of it, I would play for hours on end opening up my imagination to build all kinds of things. In fact still own some now.

COCA COLA. Was founded in 1886 by a Pharmacist in Atlanta. John Pemberton out of curiousity mixed caramel coloured liquid and took it to his local pharmacist and mixed it with carbonated water and served it to costumers who believe it was something special. soon after glasses with sold for three pence each. About nine glasses were sold a day, as of now over ten billion gallons of syrup have been created. the business was brought by Asa Griggs `Candler for $2,300 and he saw a great vision for the company. The Coca Cola brand is now worth $56.1 billion.

Logo: Free flowing font which is light on the eye, which is how the company name was originally written in 1886. It's simple and bold with its bright red colour allowing it stand out from the other soft drinks on the market.

The website: The website has a very modern and simple layout allowing it to be easily navigated through the different sections, the home page opens with community events and how they are getting involved all over the planet which is currently the rugby world cup.

Personal: It's my all time favourite soft drink, It's delicious and I love the way they advertise their brand and how much involvement the have with public such as Rugby, Olympics and the `Christmas truck, i feel like they put the fans of their drinks first by doing this.

MARS. Mars was founded in 1911 by Franklin Clarence Mars. He was taught by his mother how to make candy and by the age of 19 he was selling his own. He opened a candy factory in 1911 with his second wife. This failed and they returned to start their business from home started Mar-O-Bar Co., in Minneapolis. and since then started rising through the industry making one todays biggest confectionary businesses with a net worth of $22 billion and over 75,000 employee's however still remains a family business with the great grandchildren still owning 100% of the multi-billion dollar company.

Logo: It's fun, using an odd match of colour's including gold as an outline rather than a more outstanding brighter colour. The red still is the most noticeable colour on the logo.

The website: The website for company is very formal and dull giving it more a of business feel, but the products it owns websites are a lot more fun and colourful, `probably since most candy bars are brought by kids/teens.

Personal: The company produces some of my favourite chocolate bars (Mars Bar/ Snickers/Malteasers, M&M's) and I've always had them throughout my life, and are usually a regular buy for snacks etc.

CALL OF DUTY. It first began on PC Microsoft windows in 2003, The games three developers (Activision, Treyarch and Infinity Ward) or have equal shares and allow to make decisions for each game. The games first began as first person shooters set in the historic world wars. Then in 2007 infinity game the franchise a fresh new boost by setting the player into a fictional war of the modern age, the surprise hit then started a new story spanning three of the many games. New additions to each game included co-op modes, online play and zombie co-op.
They multi-million selling game, one of biggest selling franchises of all time selling a huge 175 million copies worldwide and have a turnover of $10billion. The franchise has now gone further to move games stories into the futuristic sci-fi root, which for some fans is missing the mark.

Logo: As far as gaming logo's it is one of most recognizable in the industry, but as for standing out it is every bland but with a huge bold font, different variations also have the writing in white with a darker background. Since the writing is quite big it's what grabs your attention.

The website: The website has giant banner to start promoting the new game and featues, most of the website is taken over by it's newest title, it's very dark using orange and white to outline the differetn sections, it has ways to sign up for exclusive content,

Personal: The franchise has been a big part of my life right from when I first got into gaming, despite being under the age i still played and enjoyed these games, and I really hope they can continue and bring themselves to make great games as the last couple have fell short of my standards of the previous games. Despite that i still adore the games and can find so much enjoyment in them.

BAILEYS. Is an Irish whiskey, made in Ireland and first began crafting in 1971 but wasn't finished until 1974 in Dublin and has several various flavours such as coffee, caramel, mint and half a dozen others as well as being 17% alcohol volume. As well as the drink they also have chocolate truffles that are usually available in the christmas period or in some retailers all year round.

Logo: The Bailey's logo is very crisp and clean. It has a slight glow round the edges the colours are rather bright making it pop out and the shadows around the outer edge give it a very 3D look.

The website: The website is very classy, using dark and rich colours, golds, whites and yellows to brighten up some area's of importance. The classy website its quite typical for most pricey alcoholic drinks.

Personal: It's my favourite alcoholic drink and actually one of the only ones I like, i'm not a fan of alcohol but ever since trying this I loved it. I would happily drink this were as other alcohol i wouldn't, I think thats what makes it personal to me.
